The partnership program between the JCC and local synagogues is a way to reach out to synagogue members to familiarize them with the programming and activities the JCC has to offer, and in return allows the synagogue a forum to reach JCC members. Synagogue members will be offered a free JCC membership* during their featured month at the JCC. Click here for membership details.
* Free membership is limited to one month, regardless of membership in more than one synagogue. All JCC/Synagogue Partnership events are open to all members of the JCC and the featured synagogue.

Tifereth Israel is an egalitarian congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ). Founded in 1902, Tifereth Israel is a leader in the Jewish community and the Conservative Movement.
In addition to Shabbat/Holiday worship and daily minyan, we offer alternative prayer experiences: Minyan Chadash, Service of the Spirit and Passionate Davening for Families. Our award-winning Religious School engages students in quality educational experiences at Columbus and New Albany locations; the Adult Education program is without parallel. Our nationally-recognized youth groups serve children in elementary through high school. Tifereth Israel regularly hosts concerts and speakers, and is an established leader in Social Justice efforts.

Partnership programs being planned for August include:
- A Tifereth Israel picnic at the JCC on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. JCC Fitness staff will offer a free exercise
class and the newly renovated softball fields will be available for a pick up softball game. In addition, information
will be distributed at the picnic regarding the JCC/Synagogue Partnership Program, and JCC staff will be available to
answer additional questions.
- Cantor Jack Chomsky will sing at a New Horizons 60+ program on Friday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m..
- Rabbi Harold Berman will speak on Friday, Aug. 22, at 11:15 a.m. during a pre-lunch program for the New Horizons 60+ Group.
